About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the office automation industry, is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to manage and oversee their inventory operations. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and smooth logistics to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring timely updates.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including stock control and distribution.
- Perform regular stock audits and address discrepancies.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products.
- Ensure inventory levels are optimized to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams for efficient supply chain management.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, licensing, fuel reports and any infringements.
- Ensure proper maintenance of company buildings.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Supervisor, ideally within the office automation or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- Proven experience in a logistics environment at a management or supervisory level.
- Excellent SAP knowledge is essential.
- Understanding the MRP process is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of expense management practices.
